 Hey Johnny,
Last weekend was proof that the camera workshops were effective--32 students (with casts and crews, 75-100 each day) filmed at the abandoned mansion with each using the XL2s and including a large and small crane shot, dolly shots, and steadicam work (plus lights and sound).  We had a great crew of local professionals assisting, the students did an amazing job, and the cameras held up great.  The students were thrilled to have such excellent equipment and help.

Thank you for the 'prize' camera...even more incentive for the students (besides marks).  They begin editing their films now but I'll make sure you see some of the finished work at the end of the semester.   I don't know how we will pick 'the best', but  I know some students got amazing camera shots.

Again, thank you, Canon, and Expandore for all your support.  The success of last weekend was because of great collaboration among the local film industry, the government agencies, and the staff and administration at NTU (especially KS).  It shows that we can work together to make our students better filmmakers.
